must see.
An absolutely stunning film. So many beautiful things soothed into one.
The elegant dialogue amped my desire to learn arguably one of the most impractical but beautiful languages in the world.
The fashion (charged to Jil Sander and Fendi) left me in a sort of trance-like state. Anyone looking for a lesson in Italian style need not look any further than this film.
And then there was food. The Jenna Jameson of food porn - albeit a shaky comparison it really did capture the essence of epicurean existence. (If there is a better porn-star to name here I welcome suggestions).
My initial reservation to see the movie based on the hardly revolutionary plot was somewhat deserved but every other aspect of it was truly delightful. It was complete feast for the senses; and it surely heightened my excitement to travel back to the motherland of my Italian.

So. So. So. Good. Times a million!
Quite excited for this one… documentary on the legendary New York Times street style photographer Bill Cunningham. (Coming out March 16).
“The best fashion show is on the street. It always has been and always will be.”
